Everyone I'm guessing would have been happy with an exotic engram... No idea why they didn't do this.

Even if everyone got Gjallarhorn, some of us already have one and would be disappointed that now everyone does. The RIGHT move was to make the gift an addition to gameplay. A survival mode, or a war scenario, of even sparrow races with rewards.

No one would have been happy no matter what they got. Anything Bungie does is never enough, apparently.

Tbh though, a legendary engram would have been better though, still would've gotten a crap legendary that you shard or shards themselves only this time would've been a chance at an exotic at least. Just my two cents.
