We don't all have the time to commit to raids, man. I think the new system is on point. You can ALMOST max your character without raiding, but you'll have to still raid to reach that ultimate level 32. And let me tell you, leveling up an all faction gear set up isn't an overnight process. I'm not a huge fan of the crucible, but I have to grind it to get the gear I need. Your putting in hours either way. I DO agree that the VOG gear should be upgraded however. They shouldn't be irrelevant.
