Call this what you want... I call it the truth.

Call this what you want; a b**tch, moan, complaint… But I call this the truth. The greatest adversaries of Destiny’s guardians have not been from the challenges of the weekly Nightfall Strike, nor the Vault of Glass and Crota’s End. It has been the creators of these “formidable” foes: Bungie. Bungie has been continually updating and adding “better” features to the world of Destiny, only to make Bungie themselves the real villain. Whether it’s “nerfing” weapons to cater to the complaints of whiny casual gamers, to making it nearly impossible to obtain Legendary Engrams and Exotic weapons, Bungie was behind it all. Let me ask you a couple questions… When you complete a/all of your Nightfall Strike/s and you are “rewarded” a handful of obsolete ascendant materials, strange coins, or possibly the worst faction weapon the tower has to offer, do you feel a sense of accomplishment? When you have thwarted the end game bosses in these “raids” and receive an emblem, shader, ship or sparrow that you’ve been “awarded” more times than the days that Kim Kardashian’s marriages last, are you filled with joy and hunger for more gameplay? When you find a Legendary Engram, and you haven’t seen one for weeks, do you feel hesitant to turn it, knowing that there is nearly a 1% chance that you’ll actually get not only what the engram says it will be, but for the class that your desire it for, possibly an exotic, and it NOT to be ascendant materials? Do you feel you need to heavily rely on your favorite Exotic weapon because utilizing the Vanguard/Crucible Marks you have been mindlessly grinding for are only meant for the upgrade materials now? If you are thinking to yourself, even remotely a little bit, that this sounds like you, then you’re probably in the same boat as a lot of the players who actually care. This game seems to favor and commend those who cry about it, but condemn the players who pay, play, and pray they don’t get sh*t on by this “RNG”. The fact that you cannot change the outcome of this game is entirely what Bungie seems to be thriving on. And all we do is continue to feed into the bulls**t. I end this “rant”, if you will, with this; Bungie, if you want this game to continue to prosper, stop sh**ting on your fan base/players. You yourselves have said that this game is supposed to be something you see players picking up the controller and logging in to for years to come. If all you are going to continue to do is make it harder for gamers to enjoy, this train will arrive at the station a lot earlier than expected. And I won’t be surprised if it's everybody’s last stop.

    • I don't disagree with anything you said. You are only focused on the RNG in this rant and that's just the tip of the iceberg. The endless grind, lack of content, complete lack of innovation(or even blatantly stealing other, better MMO systems), patching exploits and ignoring game breaking bugs, complete lack of clan tools, etc, etc, etc are going to be the nail in the coffin for me if they don't get off their asses and improve this game. They haven't delivered on what they claimed this game would be. And, the recent leaks appear to show that they knew exactly what the plan was. I love Destiny. I hope they can right this ship. The coming months are delivering some stiff competition for my gaming time. Bungie, please listen to us. You are failing your fans.
