In 8th grade, girl says "Isn't Japan a part of China?"

"Why can't I give blood if I have herpes?"
This was Freshman Year.

Had somewhat of the same experience in summer camp. Someone: I don't really like china (or something like that) I give her a look. Someone: are you Chinese? Me: maybe.... Someone: well I like Tokyo! No joke at all. Someone also though Afghanistan was near Alaska.
