Started off doing bounties, leveling Hunger of Crota and The Devil You Don't from CE/puchase yesterday... and then the day really began. Legendary gift gave me a legendary auto I was going to buy. Up For Anything, legendary vanguard auto rifle. But the day doesn't stop there. Did weekly. Got another legendary engram from it. What was it? Secret Handshake DLC solar shotgun. Can be fired full auto once I level that boy. But wait. The day continued... Destinylfg.com. I helped someone do their nightfall and weekly. Watched them get Patience and Time from nightfall AND the Devil You Don't from weekly. I already own both. If you think the day ends there... Destinylfg.com again. VOG hard mode from start. First group failed. Had two players who communicated very nicely but... didn't live up to the "kill anything that isn't human" part of the equation. 2 people who... had an entire flank collapse and... got 32 kills and 22 kills respectively. Told them good job since they both were 30, but typically speaking, we all need about 50 kills at the minimum to successfully take out all oracles AND not die to goblin/hobgoblin fire. Eventually we stopped. Got a new friend to the roster who lived up to his side of the equation and we all parted ways like good fellows and a few "sorry's" which was met very quickly with, "Don't worry about it. If it was easy, everyone would do it." /s Loaded up Destinylfg.com one final time and... got a rock solid group. Went through that... got my first Kabr Brazen grips to complete my VoG armor set. I can now retire them to my trusty vault in memory of Kabr once they are leveled out. Salute Titan. But no. Today was also the day I finally claimed Praedyths Timepiece, Arc 300 max pulse rifle. Can't wait to level that one out AND... for defeating the one and only ATHEON... I received a machine gun which people have always said is great. Has always been powerful to use in crucible... and has a certain "thunderstruck" effect against other guardians. If you didn't guess with that last one, I got the exotic Thunderlord from Atheon. Thanks for the great day Bungie. See you tomorrow with a lot of guns that I don't know what the heck I'm going to do besides bounties for Eris and Vanguard now that I have mostly vanguard awesomeness rocking my inventory slots... And yet... the day now ends... with only one thought to my fellow guardians near, far, and on whatever console you are: The laughter and execution of teamwork to challenge any raid is worth more then every single exotic... and legendary... you can name. So... how was your day?
