Fatebringer has dropped maybe 6 times over 2 characters and 40+ hard raids, Vex has dropped once and that was very recently on my Titan. That being said, my Titan does seem luckier in the RnG stakes, my Hunter gets shards and chatterwhite pretty much every raid.

That's weird u say that. My hunter had 125completed raids, always chatter, shards etc etc but new warlock, 1st run, fatebringer and vex!

Yep, my Titan has only really been used since maybe Christmas and there is a marked increase in valuable loot drops in both raids and nightfall. The nerd in me thinks there's something in the cloaks, marks etc. The realist in me is telling myself to shut up Meg though!

I think some characters are just either bugged or unlucky. Also its in the algorithm to keep a few items back from each player, to keep you playing. My hunter got VoC over n over n ovrr., that n praedyths. N I know guys who never got either, in tonnes of raids. Every1 seems to NEVER get 1-2 guns no matter what they do. My hunter did 2 crotas too n got shards at every CP. I deleted her last week!

I'm going to level up my Warlock as a scientific experiment now, just to see the difference in loot drops. Currently my Titan gets blue engrams for days but my Hunter gets mainly greens whilst patrolling (they are both 31s btw). I'm going to make a note of drops and compare them over say a week.

My hunter gets purple engram's every 2-3 ROC strikes, my warlock has completed 13-14 and gotten none. Its deffo part of the algorithm. It pretty much makes you need 3 characters if you want to get everything. I'm done with 3, too time consuming. I'm using 1 warlock n what will b will b
