What do you think "Forge of Gods" DLC will be about.
I'm just really curious, I like Destiny Lore so I would LOVE to hear your theories.
I think Forge of Gods is about the creation of the traveler and why it is giving us technology and helping us. Probably the raid is about killing the traveler since there is people that say the traveler is EVIL, and is just using us to help it self, making it selfish.
Anyways that's all I got, hope to read your theories soon.

When the game first started there was nothing there, then before HoW there was just that little mining wheel, and now those two little pillars with the cave behind.
Just thought you would want to know.[/quote] I checked that out, and I confirmed that what he said is correct since I have a bunch of video clips saved of me playing each strike for the first time, and luckily I checked that cave back then. So FOG will be something about a drill/mine and they will find something? We are not sure yet.

10 RepliesIm guessing it is going to set up the story for destiny 2. Destiny is about the hive, I believe that destiny 2 could be centered around the vex and cabal. As the cabal are trying to figure the vex and vex wish to stop them from doing so. Also im guessing the cabal dont like how the guardians have started to attack them and probably want to put a boot in our arse! Can I just say that I am not looking forward to a cabal raid. Not because the cabal aren't awesome, but because of how yesterday I caught of glimpse of "what could be" On the 32 boss for poe we let the enemies pile up a bit too much, and all of a sudden there were four major centurions+boss and like six major phalanx and like 6 major psions. not including the red health enemies. I was behind cover and dying from AOE damage area of effect for those that dont know what that means. Add a few colossus and a level deficit and you have yourself the recipe for a raid that is going yo make the forums go wild!

Or to explain the results of any of the Vanilla story missions we completed. The Collectives lost archive.... The Freehold...ect. I love Destiny, but the lazy storytelling is inexcusable. The lore is there, just not in game where it should be. I feel the same lack of immersion I felt at launch.

I don't know if the Traveler is evil or is just running. It did create the golden age for human kind. I think that DLC will be focusing on the entities of Darkness and their arsenal.

Well if it's like the picture that leaked long ago that showed all the dlc, it's cabal centered and it's the dlc that is released last. The next dlc would be vex centered if they are sticking to that leaked image.

Shutting down a major manufacturing facility would hinder all operations within our solar system, making prolonged war nearly impossible. Anyways, something like this would be cool, because it would make our actions seem like they have consequence, and give resolution. Both are necessary for good storytelling. Unfortunately, Destiny must persist far longer than 1 game, so any conflict resolution is unlikely. Probably kill another God I guess, which is wierd, considering how important Gods are, or maybe showing us how [i]unimportant[/i] they are.

Well after this DLC we get rid of Oryx .. Cabal came to our system because they were running from Oryx .. So without Oryx the Cabal are free to attack us .. Maybe they have a grudge on us because we killed Crota and made Oryx come to our system and convert to Taken most of the Cabal .. Everything is a chain of events in Destiny so far so i guess events on TTK trigger the Cabal revenge on us..

3 RepliesThis is 0% based on factual evidence, just so you know. Awhile ago I had a dream. I was a Guardian in a 6-man fireteam, and we were fighting a dragon. It was underground, it rose from a pit of lava, and there was alot of fire everywhere. So this kind of got me thinking, and I can sorta see Forge of Gods going like this: The Last Ahamkara is the main antagonist of Forge of Gods. Its angry with mankind for wiping out the Ahamkara, so its sided with the Cabal to get revenge on us. It shows them the Forge of Gods, a powerful artifact buried deep under Mars which can grant untold power to those strong enough to use it. The missions would have us hunt down the Cabal command and intelligence to find the Forge, and the strike would pit us against a Cabal general who used the Forge. The Raid would have us delve underground to find the Forge, and we would use it to kill the Last Ahamkara as the final boss.

2 RepliesI couldn't tell you but prolly something involving the cabal preparing an offensive on earth in retaliation for all the guardian attacks in recent years,and will likely climax at the summit of Olympus mons(or mount olympia if you will) the largest known volcano which happens to be on mars
