What do you think "Forge of Gods" DLC will be about.
I'm just really curious, I like Destiny Lore so I would LOVE to hear your theories.
I think Forge of Gods is about the creation of the traveler and why it is giving us technology and helping us. Probably the raid is about killing the traveler since there is people that say the traveler is EVIL, and is just using us to help it self, making it selfish.
Anyways that's all I got, hope to read your theories soon.

Just thought you would want to know.[/quote] I checked that out, and I confirmed that what he said is correct since I have a bunch of video clips saved of me playing each strike for the first time, and luckily I checked that cave back then. So FOG will be something about a drill/mine and they will find something? We are not sure yet.

1 ReplyThe remnants of the Cabal (after we basically murdered all their leaders in TTK, and with Phobos base gone) likely find whatever it is they're looking for under Mars, which may be connected to the Vex in someway, or the "Vex Void" DLC as well. Maybe it's Charlemagne's Vault, overtaken by Rasputin or the Vex (idk the full lore about that particular curiousity), which we would end up heading into for the new Raid. And since the emergency signal went through to the Cabal empire, combined with the finding of the "Forge of the Gods", they'll likely have new reinforcements land on Mars/Phobos (new public events to replace the Taken?) with plenty more leaders to kill. This will likely bleed into Year 3/Destiny 2 as our newest threat begins - Cabal Empire invades the entirety of the inner solar system. Just my guess.

It'll include a raid where the final boss is a Cabal Phalanx who doesn't flinch whenever you shoot him so we'll have to kill him by shooting his toe for a day. But really, it probably has something to do with the Traveler and maybe him waking up whenever the Cabal Empire arrives into our solar system to take us out. That's my guess.

1 ReplyCabal, I really hope there is some dialogue in the dlc, cabal barely talk at all in everything up to now, we also need some character development with our character, are they mutes? Have some trash talk between us and the aliens, we should know one another's languages by now.

6 RepliesEdited by Scorcei: 10/9/2015 5:58:49 PMMy guess is that since the DLC is about the Cabal, and in one of The Taken King missions it mentions that the Cabal are trying to contact their Emperor and summon their whole empire to fight. What I honestly think what happened is that since the Cabal have known about Oryx before us and they found him in our solar system that they called their empire to bring all of their forces in and take him out. But since Oryx is dead now the empire is coming and I'm assuming that the next Cabal to be in command at the time that their arrive will tell them that the guardians are the biggest threat because we took out Oryx. So they're probably going to lead an armada of Cabal ships to come and attack Earth. Edit: That or the Cabal empire will attack Rasputin. Rasputin is able to hack into Mars so I wouldn't doubt it if when the empire arrives that they can get some elite Psions to hack into his system. (And possibly make Rasputin attack the city in some way)

8 RepliesThe message to the Cabal command is received and they start to Earth destroying worlds and moons. They destroy the dreadnaught after looking for Cabal survivors and finding none. Next up is Jupiter and the Jovians. They ask for help and the guardians respond. We get sent on mission after mission eliminating the Cabal high command. The last one is the emperor who thinks he is a god. To battle him we must build a mech and fight him as a group. Each guardian has a part of the mech they control and everyone must communicate and work together.
