What do you think "Forge of Gods" DLC will be about.
I'm just really curious, I like Destiny Lore so I would LOVE to hear your theories.
I think Forge of Gods is about the creation of the traveler and why it is giving us technology and helping us. Probably the raid is about killing the traveler since there is people that say the traveler is EVIL, and is just using us to help it self, making it selfish.
Anyways that's all I got, hope to read your theories soon.

Just thought you would want to know.[/quote] I checked that out, and I confirmed that what he said is correct since I have a bunch of video clips saved of me playing each strike for the first time, and luckily I checked that cave back then. So FOG will be something about a drill/mine and they will find something? We are not sure yet.

1 ReplyI think it will have to do with the Reston the canal empire. Remember on the outbound signal mission from ttk. It says that the cabal sent a message to the head of the cabal empire. I have a feeling that the cabal will lead a massive strike on oryx( they probably don't know he is dead) and us guardians. I think the raid will be you going into a massive cabal ship and going to kill the head of the cabal empire. ( I think the head should be a huge psion)

Since we are spitballin i'm gonna throw in what i think . Cabal, Mercury, some sorta plot twist (possible dark traveler or speaker turns dark) Small type crota style raid. Earth goes down in flames. I am sure 1 or 2 of those will pan out.

You think it'll have a raid? now that they have $40 dlc's, gl getting a raid in a $20 dlc unless its a short POS of a raid like crota.

4 RepliesTL DR; at the end. [spoiler]some say that the traveler is evil[/spoiler] That was the idea before the game development. They changed many things. House of Wolves should had a raid too. But they renamed it into Arena. It's possible the Traveler is still evil. The stranger said something like this in the Venus Mission: "You should choose a site. Even if It's the wrong site". So maybe the stranger knows the true. But here's the interesting part: Forge of Gods will be about the cabal race. (The picture of the leaked DLC Timeline showed us a cabal face). The original (old) story was: "The Stranger and Prince Uldren (Queens Brother) wait for you in a base on mars. They tell you about their plan to stop the traveler because he is evil" ... On a base on mars! Cabal = Mars. I would like to see a scene with that. The player will be very confused, mwahahah. WARNING: HUGE STORY SPOILER! [i]It can be the end of the story, so don't open the spoiler if you don't want to know the ending. [/i] [spoiler]The original idea was, that the traveler will crush the last city (Just like the Titan Super, lol) and wipe the humanity. [/spoiler] [b]TL DR;[/b] The original Idea of the story was that the traveler is evil. Prince Uldren and the stranger will tell you everything about the traveler in a cabal base on mars. There are many hints that Forge Of Gods will be about the cabal race. And cabals are on mars... Traveler is evil confirmed.

I think that the Forge of Gods DLC will be about how we kick Cabals fhat asses out of Freehold and discover that the reason Freehold collasped was because of Mars actually being a huge vex factory, which the Cabal discovered and tried to shoehorn their phat asses in by developing mutated versions of themselves. Giant Phalanxes, Centurions that rapidly fired tracking rockets, Gigantic guardians etc.

But seriously, I see it being about the aftermath of TTK and how the Cabal are tired of running. So they call in for some help from the higher up bosses

2 RepliesA weapon forge. My Sunbreaker Master Smith Titan will be the vendor. He will wear gilded armor, minus a chest piece to show his bare hairy chest. He will wield the Hammer of Sol as a weapon and a tool. You will all come from far and wide to pay homage to him, and after completing several hundred of his fetch quests for materials, he will make you a weapon of your chosen type, with your hand picked sights and perks. But there's a catch. After getting all the mats you can craft the weapon straight away if you wish, but you risk my Titan not knowing his own strength and breaking it. For better odds you must do further fetch quests to acquire "Calming Light" , to quell the fire in his fists and belly, reducing his brutish strength and increasing his craftmanship to maximum.

I think the cabal will see that we have defeated the vex in this system for now. then they will siege the tower. then the fallen will see their chance and unite and fight the cabal for the traveller, we lose the tower and the end of the first destiny

Edited by Bivec: 10/1/2015 6:45:19 PMthe cabal will siege the tower!!!!!!!! in the raid you have to make your way thought the city up the tower and kill the big cabal boss (which we all know will be colossus but it will spam flayers at you) BUT the entire point of the raid is to save rahool as the vanguard kicked him out of the escape pods because so many guardians have died because of him!!!

I'm guessing we will be in some sort of Volcano. Forge makes me think Lava or Fire, something hot. Maybe Mercury for all we know, the Cabal were there too, who knows what they may have found there.

I don't think it will be about the creation of the traveller, but about trying to accelerate repairs on the traveller. I think the plot will center around the vex trying to infiltrate the traveller. The vanguard will be suspicious of any vex interaction with the traveller and of course will send us to kill them. Or it could be centered on the vex trying to create ANOTHER traveller out of the planet Mercury. If the theory that the vex are caretakers of the traveller is true, then the vex could be trying to make a new traveller since they don't have access to the one hovering over the last city.

14 RepliesWe still don't really know what happened to Xivu Arath and Savathun. Oryx's sisters. We can probably assume oryx consumed them to become The Final Shape but they could still be out there. And at the heart of that we have the worms, do they simply find another host or die? Other than that the cabal were sending out a transmission to some cabal commander, we don't know much about them but nobody ever wants to mess with them for some reason. But I like the idea of having something to do with the Traveler, it's inactive. Maybe we bring it back to life, not that it's dead but it's been running for a reason, maybe to find the other parts it's missing. Who knows...
