ATTENTION: All Experienced Crota's End Raiders
The time has come and Bungie will be delivering justice next Tuesday. Many people will be wanting experienced raiders to guide them through the madness. We must NOT help those that have not helped themselves in previous weeks. Please take the helm of your fireteam, that way you can deliver swift justice if a "cheeser" is found. Your experience is valuable, it should not be squandered on such scum. Upon discovery of a "cheeser" they should be kicked immediately, regardless of gear or level.
This is our time to shine, make our voice be heard. Kick these scumbags with no remorse. They have made their bed, now they can lie in it.
Here are some ways to spot a "cheeser", that way you don't confuse them with first timers. By all means we should be helping first timers.
1. Look for the Crota's End emblem, this is a clear indicator of a Crota's End completion.
2. If they're using the Crota's End emblem look for VoG weapons that have not been leveled.
3. Beware of "Rare"/Blue Guns, if you spot a player using one boot them immediately.
4. If they instantly go kill themselves on the Bridge section or go to the back room at the start.
5. If they shoot the two Knights prior to luring out the wizards on the Deathsinger section.
6. If at some point during the Crota fight they quit the game as he kneels.
7. If they ask what a "Gatekeeper Knight" is or if they ask what is an Oversoul/where does it spawn. (TheHuntersWatch)
8. When you start the raid group and have everyone, ask "you guys wanna see the new easy cheese method? We'll be through the raid in like 20 minutes." If anyone says "yes" you can boot them.
If you have any suggestions on how to spot a "cheeser' let me know and it will be added.

2 RepliesI done it today legit for the first time with a fire team of cheesers who had only ever cheesed. You are not special, you are not good you my friend are a clown! You jump on your gaming high horse on a gaming forum and try and make yourself feel superior because in the real world you Are nothing... A nobody. Wind your neck in please.

This is a great idea let the cream float to the top. On the other hand Bungie did this to themselves they generated a games release in early fall knowing many people would not get it till Christmas. It is our responsibility to look out for ourselves aka Fireteam/clan mates nothing more. Bungie screwed everyone on the 31 light thing because day one people had to grind like hell to get there gear and we felt good about it. Then Bungie creating this entitlement class in the game where the new players were handed everything and want to know why they don't have the latest and greatest. Patients and time is a virtue not a -blam!-ing sniper rifle.

Today was glorious, after a minor screening process I was able to put together a good raid group. Only had to kick one cheeser before we started. I was fortunate enough to have 4 friends on for the first raid and a 5th friend joined for the 2nd raid. I only had to LFG three people, one of which was booted instantly once I glanced at his Crotas End emblem and 3 non leveled weapons. Anyone else deliver justice today?

I'll say it again. So, many people don't have a ton or time nor regular group. So when they find themselves in one through the various forums etc. they tend to go with the flow of the group. Most groups have a few friends. Irritate them and you may get kicked. So if they wanna cheese you just go with it. You may ask how it's supposed to be done and they may tell you not to worry about it. End of the day you're there for the hope of an RNGesus blessing so you ride it out. If someone is straight up and wants to learn maybe you should teach them before being on your E-holier than thou campaign.

I'll say this again, While an exploit is available, use it. If it was your primary source to overcome the challenges in the past, your loss. Fortunately, most people do know the legit way. I remember when the cheese just went viral and there was this half autistic dude (speculation) that I got paired up with like 3 times. He ALWAYS was talking and would not shut up. Annoying voice, always died, level 30 with full raid gear (warlock). Needless to say, he always wanted to cheese. Always. If doing it legit was ever mentioned, he'd get super quiet for like 30 secs then back out. [i]THATS[/i] the kind of people that piss me off.

Now before I get flamed for saying this.. me and my team beat Crota's End every week twice in a row right at reset without cheesing, I was also part of the sub 1000 people that had beat Crota before the cheese methods for the raid had been established, and I can down him solo with my 32 Hunter. - So tomorrow when they patch that bridge section to require all people to get across wouldn't it still be, pretty much, just as easy to cheese by having 1 in the center and a person on each pillar and send 1 across and then either have the 2 die or just leave and then go back and do it again for the other 2 people? Again I know that part can be done solo without cheesing I'm just saying. I know there is no way to "cheese proof" anything because people will always find a way around the patches.

1 ReplyI have beat the raid legit many times and have also enjoyed the crackers an cheese , there were times we beat Crota legitly and that bastard only gave me two radiant energy's lol, and other times where I would get a BLACK forrest HAM and Cheese sandwich. Anyways Im looking forward to crota being patched because of the challenge, Not the challenge of crota himself, because my squad and I already got that down so thats not really a challenge, The challenge I'm looking forward to is joining the random raid groups with people that may not know what they're doing, It makes it fun. it makes it feel fresh in a sense like the raid just came out again. A strong gamer is not just an individual player,(Lots of people can hold their own!) it is a player who can communicate and lead a team through a tough challenge without losing their cool, there needs to be an understanding that not everyone is going to be as skilled as you, if everyone was as good as you what would be the point of being good. So I welcome the challenge to help the "Cheesers", So Lets grab that Fckin sword and chop that bitches balls off!! Cant wait for Hard Raid!!!!

Instead of alienating a majority of the playerbase... I'm wanting to help those that want to get past Crota easily and doing it legit. I will be streaming every day until hard mode CE comes out, whenever that may be, with the main focus on teaching my viewers how to run the raid legit and also running with my viewers. Lvl 30+ with max 300+ weapons, I will run the full raid with. If you are still 29 or dont have max weapons I don't mind bringing you in one at a time for full runs. If you are already experienced at the raid and want to help out, you are more than welcome as well. Must be able to follow instructions because I'm not carrying you. I will be teaching you how to do your individual part of six people. You will need a microphone as well. I'm new to streaming and I know my channel is not much to look at yet. I'm working on that and figuring out a static schedule. I will be Live every day for at least 6 hours so follow and join in when you can. I love playing Destiny and I want others to experience what I think is the most fun part of the game. So, if the amount of people that want to do it keep coming in I will keep going and going.
