"Play it the way Bungie wants us to play" explain.
I do not understand this logic. I've been a gamer since C64 days. A game developer makes a game, intends for you to play it a certain way and that's what you do.
Every Mario game forced me to jump on things, squeeze through pipes and eventually hop on Bowsers head or throw something at him. Why couldn't I use an M4? Or push him off? Why was I forced to play the way Nintendo wanted me to play? What kind of bullsh*t was that?
This concept just floors me. The very idea that it's wrong for a video game designer to design a game with parameters to follow simply does not compute in my head.
This complaint that "I can't play it the way I want to play it" is more about now you can't easily get the stuff you want. That's all its about. It's not about playing the game the way you want. Every single person cheesing knows they're cheating the system and they love it. They love the thrill of finding a loophole - who doesnt. I get that. But the complaint is so misguided and then on top of that, it's cloaked in this awful concept.
Someone will need to do very good job to explain why it's a valid complaint because to me, it sounds like the ramblings of spoiled children - upset they now can't get what they want, when they want it.
Go on, spew your vile. I know that's what [most of] you guys do. Give us this, give us that. Don't make me work for anything. Just put all the loot in my bigger vault so I can sit back, look at it and think how awesome I am.
