The game isnt being enjoyed by the cheesers and they are only playing for rewards.
I can't think of any other logical reason to do it.

If people who cheese don't enjoy the game why have they literally spent millions of hours doing it? People cheese for the same reason hackers hack, it's fun to exploit loop holes in the system.
