No idea why they haven't brought something like this back. I always really enjoyed doing the story missions with modifiers on it. Even after I had everything I wanted I would still run those missions. Just another disappointment to add to the growing list of how bungie is going about this game.

Yeah. The longer they wait the more the gear you get from it is going to be pointless though (assuming they implement it similarly as the last time). I'm beginning to not expect much in terms of new content with this game that way I won't be as disappointed.
