I think Bungie actually does understand our frustration regarding lack of PVE events.
a) Queen's Wrath seemed to have been intended as an alternating event with IB.
b) QW was a broken event that most people complained about due to it's repetitive nature.
c) Bungie realized this and noted to use several weeks ago how it was going to be reworked.
d) They either are reworking it into something more unique or are waiting to unveil it with the HoW DLC when the Queen and her interests are a focal point.
That all said, Bungie did drop the ball by not having a suitable replacement in the works and not communicating with the community what their plans were for PVE events (or honestly if they have no immediate plans for the foreseeable future that should have been mentioned too).
We know that there is another PVP event called the Trials of Osiris in the works. Promotional information was hitting sites around Xmas so I'd hazard a guess that we'll see it in February now (was hopefully for this month) as a change of pace. Check destinydb.com or other sites for info on that if interested.
We will get PVE events, but perhaps rather than continuing to complain about not having them we tell Bungie what we'd like to see in said PVE events instead. In fact, I'm likely off to do that right now.

True, but that is also exclusive to PVP which I think a lot of people are complaining about lack of new PVE modes or events. I personally think PVP needs love too, just seems to be getting all the love lately :P

That's actually not a totally unfair comment. I mean surely you can agree there is a lot to like about the game. But content that doesn't feel predictable/stale/recycled is not one of those things. And while the controls feel smooth, the player experience can be very glitchy. Perhaps "much" or "rest" were strong words, but we could agree that critical components of the game were indeed "broken."

I like the game, but it is highly repetitive, not just missions, but AI flow and spawn.... I mean really?? Then we get dlc-1 which is some same areas run BACKWARDS.. WTF? So I am guessing dlc-2 will be the same BS.

Oh I'm already prepared for it to be exactly the same in format as TDB. I expect some sort of major curve ball from Bungie as well, ala Exotics changes too. I agree with everything you said there, alas is the problem with games like these. Yet, you and I, so hooked...can't walk away. It must be doing some things right is all I'm saying.

I like it, but I am not hooked. I play a lot, but no more than I play on my 360WoT or my ONE "Lords of the FALLEN". I think what keeps me in is the ability to play with friends in all aspects of the games from multiplayer to PvE.... I love raiding with my crew.... Even more is the yelling when someone gets what they need or want... Like yesterday night... My titan got helm/black hammer/shader/ship/glimmer.... THOSE ARE THE MOMENTS I ENJOY. Now with VoG running 2.0 exotics I might be tempted...

Yeah, another Queen's Wrath should be more like Eris, where you get the multi-step bounties and complete tasks to earn something cool. Doing that was way more interesting and fun than just simply completing a story mission.

I think that could be interesting. Basically make somewhere between 7 and 14 mini-missions and once you've finished the first it unlocks the second, so and so on.
