[Suggestion] New Rep - Inter-Guardian Rep for TRADE earned by playing in Fireteams

This suggestion is intended to address the common comment has been that there's no way for players to trade or share their randomly-earned loot. There's no way for me to hand over the Obsidian Mind my hunter just earned to my Warlock buddy, even though we play for hours together every week, etc. The suggestion is simple: A new rep system that measures how much each player has played with specific other players. Every one of us has a one-to-one, player-to-player rep with anyone we've been in a fireteam with. When you play in a fireteam with someone and earn XP or complete missions together, you earn rep that is associated with that specific player. Essentially this tracks how much you've played with that other person. After it levels up enough, Destiny starts allowing you to trade items with that player. The more often you play in a fireteam with, for example, "JimmyDeanSausage", the more JimmyDeanSausage rep you earn and the more 'you' rep JimmyDeanSausage earns. That rep only affects how you two interact with one another. It doesn't effect your interactions with BongRipper420, you have to play with that guy to earn rep with him. Trading is limited to one trade a week per player-player pair. In a week, JimmyDeanSausage can trade with as many people as he has earned, but only once per person. Here's some example suggestions: At Level 1, you gain the ability to send up to 5000 glimmer, or up to 50 armor material (s-wire, plasteel, essence), or up to 3 ascendant material with each other (and radiant??), or an item that's Blue or less. Also, maybe they get added to a list you can access inside Destiny. At Level 2, you gain the ability to trade one Legendary weapon, armor, or ship item in exchange for receiving one. Put more simply, you give me a purple, I give you a purple. Quantities of Glimmer, or Ascendant, or Radiant, or Strange Coins, or armor material is treated as equivalent payment to a Legendary (*cough* balance goes here *cough*), but only one of these types is trade-able at one time (no mixed currency trades). At Level 3, you gain the ability to trade one Exotic weapon, in exchange for either an exotic or legendary item (and other items of equivalent value as before). This lets people with excess exotics to help out the guy who hasn't got one yet. Each level takes some amount of Fireteam experience to level up. (hand-waving balance stuff goes here) Important: For the sake of balance, trading an item should wipe the progress on it. If you get an item from me, it's like you've been given a brand new blank one of those items, and all the expertise I've developed with it is ruined by you putting your filthy peasant mitts all over it. That makes these trades valuable in and of themselves, not something you do flippantly. WHY? WHAT IS THE POINT? A reasonable question. What this allows is additional support of persistent fireteams. This is a low-structure social aspect, which has enough flexibility and value that it will weave its way into the game. We're being rewarded for playing together, but also there's an advantage to branching out and playing a bunch with people you don't know well. Over a month or two, ad-hoc clans that are based on actual gameplay will form. Shortly after that, informal trade networks would form. Maybe you could have the player/player rep decay over time, so that clans need to maintain "trade relations". That would be a neat mechanic. Ok, I'm done.
