One problem; the vex are returning to the solar system. They had been here long before the traveler so that part is most certainly wrong.

Considering their attack strategies and general style, the Hive are either the oldest, or youngest race in the game

The only evidence to suggest the Vex were here prior to the Golden Age is found in the ruins on Venus, which would be the Citadel and the VoG. If the Vex are time travelers, its hard to argue at which point in time they came into existence and at which points in time, past and future, that they traveled.

Yeh but if you can travel through time you end up with the paradox of were they created back then or did they travel back to then. If they traveled back in time, from our perspective now they are returning to the solar system, but technically they are not returning. That's the problem with time travel they could of been made in the future traveled back to our time, realised the war was going bad for them and decided to go back further. At that point everything made by them will be ancient ruins in our present time, causing us to believe they are returning back. Sorry if I repeated myself 00:05 my time so a bit tired.

No proof of the Vex being older than the Traveler. We only know when we found the Traveler.

I didn't say they were older I said they had been to our solar system long before it had.

Also, the Vex can travel through time, so we cannot be sure when they originally arrived.
