Now I will Finish this but right now I've got to say I disagree with your conclusions on the vex. The stranger states the vex are so evil they despise other evil. This infers they've been evil and we already know are much older than when the travel and darkness came around our solar system. This would mean they were evil prior to the golden age and collapse and from what we know we're hidden on planets in our solar system already as well so they couldn't have been corrupted by the darkness at all, but just so happen to be an AI that loves to destroy and recreate things in it's own image.
