This Poll is mainly for those who know about Game Engines and willing to help a student get some primary research.
This is for part of an assignment at University, I am exploring the three Game Engines that are mentioned in the Poll and would like to know what you guys prefer and maybe giving me your views on the Engine you prefer. The assignment is a self-directed project in which I have chosen Games Development, I intend to make a level in a game which I will develop myself.
Any information relevant to the above Game Engines will be useful and greatly appreciated, especially if you are hands on with them.

Edited by Batman with prep: 1/11/2015 10:43:37 PMI don't know much about programming but I do know a little about these engines. I've heard unity is the simplest in that it's the easiest to work with. With effort some good looking games can be made in unity. Gone Home, for example. Cryengine looks great and is easily my favorite but is a lot harder to work with. I don't know much about Unreal. Good luck with your project!
