All your sarcasm aside, it's a simple concept and statement that really does present a complex problem. We can't really prove our existence to anyone around us, and it works both ways. No one can prove they exist to us. Therefore we can't even be sure those around us are real, so we can't genuinely even prove ourselves to something we aren't sure exists.
