does it even matter? The majority of us deliberately sit somewhat outside of our respective games rules to a degree

Call it a pet peeve of mine. If people use something they take from a franchise they enjoy--instead of creating something of their own--that's fine, but I think that they should also accept the limitations that come with it. Otherwise it feels like they're just changing the rules of their own character to suit any given scenario, and that cheapens it for me. You know who I felt bad for? Alcatraz. Poor sap.

true i understand where your coming from but then again Lycanos isnt a finished character he was ment to combine the crysis and prototype universes together since think combine those two and bam! A jack of all trades right there And yeah Alcatraz got the short end of the ztick..poor guy

crysis+prototype?! ...you just don't do "mortal," do you? Not even sort of your thing.

what can i say when i put a character on the drawing board i think big..and i still have plenty of time to tweak Lycanos to full spec just gotta put the right things in the right places

I prefer to keep my character as down-to-earth as possible. Have him rely on intelligence and human ability rather than raw power/supertech. Trouble is, that would make me instantly outclassed by damn near everyone in this thread, so I tried to compromise. But the big-guns, all-out, legendary super-saiyan types don't appeal to me, because they remove all hint of a challenge; you know that whatever else happens, they're just gonna rush in and save the day. Probably without anyone suffering any consequences or meaningful character development. I find it important to maintain some sense of risk. And, of course, what's a story without some tragedy?

i understand that actually hence is why i created Lycanos i knew fenatsu was far to strong but the only character i had that i hadn't used till Lycanos but things in the story progressed faster then i liked and i had to continue him as a work in progress but even with crysis+prototype there will still be challenges all i got todo is finish him

I still have to name my guy. I'm terrible with names. Making them, remembering them, whatever.

well take the advice of a writer always pay attention to how you make your character since thats how he tells you..the creator who he is
