Destiny is missing a very basic feature that all other MMORPG's have..the right to choose if you want to be the good or bad guy.
Alliance or Horde?
Jedi or Sith?
Light or Dark?
Why do you force players to be "the good guy"?

BUMP!!! I posted a similar idea almost 2 months back. I also feel as though their is not enough diversity in character progression and individuality. Before the dlc, all 30s looked the same despite exotic choices, now all 32s look the same. Let us choose which path we wish to take, with awards, weapons and armor to be looted along the way. Give us more than light. Give us darkness, fire... something that doesnt detract level but gives us more variety of perky and diversity of cosmetics that show our the trials and tribulations that our guardians had to go though to obtain it. Everyone is walking the same path. No longer, give us some diversity. The armor could even be used against certain enemies... Vex armor, good against vex but weak against other enemies, but could be equipped with other types of armor. This would make for better fireteam strategies and pvp strategies.
