Where was it said that The Last Word had low impact? I wouldn't say it has the highest "by far", but I've noticed some inconsistencies in its damage output. Sometimes it will do 84 on a headshot, and then 101, on the same target, in the same magazine. Granted, 101 is the highest damage I've ever seen a hand cannon do in the Crucible, but then I don't have Hawkmoon.
