I just soloed CE up to Crota.
After the patch, no cheese, as Warlock. I attempted to kill Crota solo, but not being blessed by the RNG gods I haven't got a Ghorn & it makes it annoyingly hard if not impossible without it.

Warlocks can use fusion grenades with ignite perk durin radiance. 4 grenades takes crotas shield down

3 RepliesTry using radiance and hitting him with 3 fusions while using Touch of Flame perk. Was able to get him down to half health but something always went wrong lol

2 RepliesGood job though. I also noticed that the Gjallarhorn is quite necessary for certain things. Those guys that two-manned the Vault of Glass on Hard wouldn't have been able to solo all the Red Oracles in the final encounter without the Gjallarhorn.
