So the Bungie Twitter stated that....
Radiant Materials will come from the raidS plural, if that is the case why doesn't VOG drop radiant materials? (for all the people who are going to say they want to stall players progress no need to state the obvious.) Deej?

Vog armor requires ascendant materials, before the cap raise to 32 you needed Vog glass armor to hit 30... it only makes sense to have ascendant materials there for ascendant material armor.

BungieVerified account @Bungie @Dscott311 It's not backwards. Going forward, Ascendant Materials come from Public Events. Radiant Materials come from Raids.
