I actually managed to get up there with the sword, what we did was i went out of the map and jumped down into the room. My friend killed the Swordbearer and he jumped on the left platform where Crota usually moves and onto a pillar. He jumped towards me and dropped sword mid air and i grabbed it. I killed both of the but 2 others instantly respawned.
