Doing my part by sharing this around, we know they did it, and we know why.
Now its time to let them know we care.

1 ReplyI can't watch this. I hate that video game companies do this. But I dont usually play video games, except for this one and I'm going to keep playing because I like it. But still -blam!- activision. Business ethics, bungie/activision should look them up.

That guy... Look everyone, there's maps! That means everything is already complete and was cut to make more money. No dingus, it means the level designers were [i]way[/i] ahead of the content developers. Making levels is easy, very easy by comparison to scripting and creating the encounters that go in those maps. Anyway, just like his last video. He basically said, people glitched into some areas that he claims are completely finished and that means there's a huge conspiracy. The funny part is, he says that in the first 3 minutes. I can only assume the next 24 minutes is all about how he likes to hear himself talk and showing off his PVP skills by stitching together all his best moments. I'm tired of listening to him and I'm tired of the conspiracies. The game wasn't finished in September. The maps for the first season pass were. There were likely ideas for what they wanted to go in those maps, but there was no voice acting yet, no script, no bounties, no new gear and no freaking conspiracy. There may have been a lot other problems in the development, but lopping off ready to ship content at the last minute to resell as DLC wasn't one of them.

72 RepliesSo what you're saying is. That in the first year of a 10 year plan, a game is supposed to not already have content ready to go? That they should release it all at once and develop after release? Here's an alternate reality. Some idiot(let's use you as our example) says " wow gg bungie. Way to have a 10 year plan and have us play the same content I beat in the first 3 months without cheese( prolly lying). Blam your blaming blam blam game. I want my money back. Don't want to wait 10 blaming years for blaming dlc. Blam you!" Lol it's not cut content idiot, it's something they finished with the launch to ensure they keep the majority( you are not the majority) happy with more to do at a pace someone with an education( which you don't have, not to that degree) decided would keep fans downloading. So please refrain from spamming posts about cut content, as you do nothing but make people grab pitchforks and torches, or lash out at you. This is prolly the most honest, non troll response you'll get. Because at the end of the day, the majority that doesn't include you, is buying more dlc after how.

9 RepliesAre people really still pretending Destiny is the first and only game to release witj cut content, or incomplete? GtaVOnline for example released without their main feature, and it took over a year to implement it. CoD releases Dlc all the time and all you get out of it are a few maps.

If you plan a roadmap, you start with step 2 - 3 and 4 when the baseplans are laid, not when you finish part 1. Else it would take 10 years to build part 1, and then 2 years for part 2. Now they can release content fairly quickly in strides. When you're working on something for 10 years, plans and visions on how things develop change too. This has nothing to do with entitlement. This sounds more like chronic discontentment. Why else would you play and be discontent? If you truly were discontent you'd not be here.

Who cares? If you hate the game just stop playing it. I don't like sniper elite so i don't play it. After house of wolves i'll probably quit anyway. I can't take doing the same shit over and over again so i'm going to quit. I already have to do the same strike mission 6 times a week (weekly, nightfall) and the raid three times it's enough to drive a man crazy. I had fun playing destiny though for awhile but shit is getting repetitive

3 RepliesHas no one ever thought that maybe they have been working on this game for a long time that they actually put too much content for a 60$ game. So it's like they are selling you the wrong price for the amount of content in the game. They use dlc too make people pay after the original launch, kinda like buying a car and then paying it over time if you get what I mean. Cuz really the amount of content they showed and money they spent on this game only to have like 20 something story missions with the same objectives protect ghost and kill yellow bar guy and like 10 PVP maps seems like they worked on this game for 6 months and threw it at our faces(kinda like cod lol) Too sum it up we paid 60$ for a game that has enough content too be over that price.

It isn't confirmed. And why is this news to you? This is months old. Content wasn't cut. There are areas in the game for DLC. But that's it. The content isn't finished. The areas are just in the game.

12 RepliesThis guy made another video? Ugh. I'm getting a headache. Always a conspiracy with him Did they cut content? Very likely. To make money? Yea most likely. But I'm trying to imagine the base game with 3 raids. Would the gear all be lvl 30 or would it still be tiered? They also said that some of it was added into the disc to save memory on the downloads. This is also likely. May not be as cool as a conspiracy theory having to do with cutting content to make more money, but it's practical.

Weather you agree or disagree with his hypothesis or not is irrelevant. What we should worry about is the story. If we had something of a story, this could be acceptable. What we got was three cutscenes and grind. And no I do not care what you say, reading cards after you are done playing is a story. No it is not, that is fluff.
