So what you're saying is, they're stealing from you, but you're okay with it as long as it speeds up how quick they steal from you?

They're not stealing. I willingly give them my money
-
Steal? No. They're trying to keep up support, like patches, for a game that's not subscription based. And I'm ok with that. We've gotten a patch almost every week since release for a game that survives on its DLC and that's incredible in my eyes. There are 3 ways to pay employees to keep the game going and doing updates as frequently as they have been. -DLC -Subscription -Microtransactions Personally I prefer DLC based.
-
I'm glad you can look at it that way. I really wish I could. Now excuse me as I go piss in some cereal and call it adding flavor.
-
Sorry I don't see the correlation with what I said. Did I talk about adding flavor? No.
-
Then let me break it down for you. Since they're releasing these add-ons to the game around a 3 month period its kinda like having a sub fee or a bunch of microtransactions stretched over the same period of time. You've already said you prefer "DLC" and they know that. So that's what they call it. I call it stealing. You call it support. You call it adding flavor. I call it piss. Like I said, I wish I could enjoy your point of view on things.
-
Yes, it's the equivalent of having a sub fee. Your problem with that, is?.... I'd rather Bungie get regular cash injections to keep developing the game than release it, everyone hits cap, and leaves because nothing more is coming.

My problem with that is the original issue: That they cut the content to make the dlc. I have no issue buying "DLCS" or "Expansions" that were not originally going to come with the game. With Destiny that was not the case. When I pay a builder to build me home and come back to find he's made me 4-walls, with a roof and nothing inside then expects me to pay more for my bathroom, bedroom, dining room and kitchen individually I call that being stolen from. The main game is the four walls and a roof. The fact is they left what they were doing with bathroom (The Dark Below) and dining room (House Of wolves) unfinshed but still there for me to wall in and look at. This makes me think that they originally planned for these parts to finished portions of my home but figured they could steal some more money from me by charging for each room individually.
