Crota's END: New find!!! 100% Legit
Me and 4 other Light bearing, misfit, Guardians were in utter shock at a new find in the Crota's End Raid...
And the most amazing part of it is that the community isn't in an uproar about it already. [b]I know for a fact that we weren't the first to find it[/b], someone in the fire team said he had heard about it. Still kind of amazed... Three out of five (3/5) of us got Exotic drops....

2 RepliesExotics rewarded from crota often do not show until you go to orbit or wait for the stat screen. Waiting for the stat screen is not mandatory. I should know, as I've gotten 2 universal remotes so far after going to orbit from crota.

You don't get a better chance of getting rewards just because you go to Orbit. Some weapons just don't show up until you get there. I didn't realize this until yesterday. Beat Crota last Tuesday night with my Titan. Was happy because I got the helmet and a few shards. Turned system off. Played yesterday and went to the Tower then saw I had a notification at the post master. Went there and I had a Mida Multi-Tool waiting for me. I remembered that I had all of my primary slots full (can't seem to dismantle some Legendaries), so they Mida just went to the post master. I definitely did not see any notification after we beat Crota that I had gotten it.

It doesn't matter if you go to orbit immediately after crota or wait. You are awarded the item as soon as crota is dead. Sometimes it just doesn't show up till later, as late as going to orbit. Got my gjallerhorn that way.

Ugh freaking trolls. The reward is what you get for crota no matter what. Happened a couple times where I didn't know I got an exotic until we backed out.

Doesn't eveyone know about this? And you didn't find anything special, you're reward was given to you in the crota fight, if you would have backed out to orbit you would have had it anyway.

If you wait long enough after beating Crota you will eventually be taken to the post game/results screen. If you got an exotic for beating Crota it doesn't show up on the right of the screen with the other rewards, but it does show in the bottom left corner on the list of rewards and on the results screen. Waiting that long didn't get you those rewards, you got them anyway. If you'd have backed out to orbit before the results screen it would have popped up when you got to orbit. This isn't new there have been threads about this already. Sorry to disappoint you. Next time you beat him keep an eye on the bottom left corner, if anyone gets an exotic you will see it there briefly.
