Which is why I originally compared it to a Mantis. Cockpit, animal-inspired design and mode of transportation, and they have a rudimentary AI to run the calibrations and synchronization for the legs. Let's go with this:
If a Mantis is a Battle Droid, than a War Sphinx is a Vulture Droid.
