Thoughts on Xur this week?
We can keep this thread running to discuss each weekend what goodies Xur has in his bag of treats...
... but I thought, especially with the return of Icebreaker, it would be beneficial to get a running dialogue on what people are purchasing. Is anyone going after one of the armors over the weapon? Are there particular armors that people should be grabbing? Are you thinking you just want to keep hoarding your coins for a rainy day?
Let the clan know to help out those new to Xur or those having trouble on making a decision...
<<Side note: sometimes people may be short on coins and want to run a weekly heroic with whatever characters they have that may not be lvl 30+ to make up the gap. I think we could use this thread to also discuss some weekly heroic matchmaking for the lower leveled members here too...>>>

I picked up ice breaker so I have one w each character... No more switching. I will probably grab obsidian mind too, but I have the skull of dire ahamkara maxed n don't use voidwalker often... I guess its good to have. Actually I like the ahamkara gauntlets better really.

1 ReplySeeing how I lack a legendary/exotic helmet on my warlock, I'm most inclined to go for the helmet instead of Ice Breaker. It may be stupid on my part, but as I've already got a decent LDR5001 with a fair bit of upgrades in it and I've grown familiar with it.. I don't think I'll be upgrading on that department anytime soon.

OK - I will start it off. Purely from a hype perspective, I feel like I need to get the Icebreaker as everyone seems to go crazy for it. However, all the helms seem to be awesome for their respective classes. Obsidian Mind seems to make PvE for void walkers crazy good as one can rapid fire nova bombs essentially. Glasshouse may look kinda ugly, but extra duration weapons and blessing of light would be sweet. However, everytime you get back in the bubble these two things pop back up, so not so useful unless you run away from your shield for a while... Achlyophage Symbiote is killer with an extra golden gun bullet. Tough to turn down a free insta-kill. My lvl 27 Warlock on Xbox needs help running it.
