Only if Bungie kept making them. Now Bungie is down with 343i and making crap these days.

Actually, I much prefer 343i. Bungie made some rotten mistakes with Halo as well, but most people are blinded by nostalgia to realize that.

Joe wrote Halo. So no Bungie no Halo and no Marty no Halo theme. Yes they were a few glitches and such in the early Halos but for the most part i think they still stand on there own. Things got better each time with the mechanics. ODST and Reach were really good in that department. I think Bungie did well over all till 343i took over and that is a slippery slope. Just imagine if Joe Staten were able to Have that kind of storytelling for every Bungie game. But he is long gone due to two things. One Budget Cuts or Two Joe seen Destiny as a mutant unlike the Bungie made Halos. It makes me wonder what would Halo have Become if Bungie kept making them for a while and made Destiny even better.
Joe wrote Halo. So no Bungie no Halo and no Marty no Halo theme.
So? George Lucas created Star Wars, and he later went on to screw up with the prequels.
Yes they were a few glitches and such in the early Halos but for the most part i think they still stand on there own.
I'm not really looking at the glitches. In fact, I dare say they contributed to Halo's success to an extent.
Things got better each time with the mechanics. ODST and Reach were really good in that department.
Actually, I'd argue they got progressively worse. Halo 2 had an unfinished campaign and extremely casualized multiplayer. Halo 3 had an oversimplified story with logical errors and character discrepancies and a few plot hole. The multiplayer made some strides in the right direction but ultimately failed with the addition of randomness and a poor FOV. Reach went even further with Armor Abilities and Bloom, amping up the randomness to a ridiculous level
One Budget Cuts or Two Joe seen Destiny as a mutant unlike the Bungie made Halos.
Actually, neither. He left either for his stated reason, or the community hypothesis of him not wanting to deal with his work after they got rid of his work when they scrapped the original story.

What mistakes? (Genuine curiosity)
-
Casualization of the gameplay and simplified stories with lack of care to them.
-
Casualization? Like what? Hijacking, dual-wielding, and regenerating health?
-
Massive auto-aim, bullet magnetism, randomness.

I suppose they could have done better, but the original trilogy is drenched in nostalgia for me. I do like where 343 is headed story wise (I don't play that much multiplayer). But if they kill Chief and replace him with some newbie, imma flip a table.
