The only place in the raid where solar is matters is Deathsinger for those 2 wizards. It's also nice to have to kill the 2 wizards on bridge, but those don't need to go. I usually solo the bridge, so I don't usually end up killing them.

Btw if you have Icebreaker upgraded, try it out on the beginning thrall maze. When you have a lot of thralls behind you you can just turn around and no-scope and they all explode.

Hmm never thought of that. I usually go invis the whole time.

You can go invis and use the icebreaker for the ultimate setup for the thrall maze.
