Black wax idols.
Right so is anyone else sick in the fact of having shitloads of energy/shards but they can't convert them because they've run out of black wax idols. Now I know the 3 hive on earth patrol "sometimes" drop them but I farmed those guys for like 2 hours and got nothing but codex and it was only like 3 of them anyone else got an idea that's worked for them?

Phogoth drops them almost every time. Run that strike in like 15 minutes on level 8.
