I have 150 down 60 up and pay good money for it. I always have great connection in destiny pve and pvp. Soon as someone joins fireteam with a crappy connection it kills mine and everyone elses. They really need to link us up with people of similar connection and let all the teleporting laggers play with each other.

Yeah, the lag in PvP is ridiculous, I don't know why people pretend like it's just you. It lags for everyone I play with. Server lag is the main reason for bugs in the raids too. I have 100 mps hardwired. Definitely not my connection. I run PS3 on wifi with no lag. Ps4 hardwired with no lag on any other games.

It's not hit detection that's bad. It's the connection to host that causes problems with latency. Your internet doesn't seem to like who the host is.

I am far from a desticle. This game has been a huge disappointment to me. The Crucible is plagued by lag-switchers, hackers/modders, unbalanced map, weapon, and class design, and immature players (such as yourself) to boot. Bungie put the ping meter in the game for a reason. Make sure to look at it before you call out stupid reasons for your loses.

7 RepliesOp, ignore these ass hats. Iron banner is near unplayable sometimes. My friend and I are in the same house and we ping and never lose connection. I'm a communications tech for a major isp and I did the wiring myself. My xbox, hardwired scored 55down, 12 up. My roommate, on AC wifi 5ghz scored 40down, 11.18up. Every few games either him or I show up as "red bar" in a pvp game. This is bullshxt. Neither of us are red bar. I'm hardwired. If I'm redbar, and he's green on the wifi and it only happens sporadically every couple games and going off my personal knowledge of how fxcking internet works I can only b come to the conclusion that it's bungie's servers that are the problem. It's not just him and me either. Every game there is a few people showing red bar and I often play with at least 4 people in my party and see it happen to them and their connections are fine. So yea don't listen to these idiots op. Do a speedtest.net and check your ping and make sure you aren't loosing data packets but I'm sure it's not on you. Game is poop.

Relax princess, nothing will be fixed. It's combination of poor matchmaking, playing at the wrong hours during the day and the maximum latency requirements on XBL/PSN (before disconnect) these games have. Go talk to MS/Sony. 300ms latency is not acceptable, out of control of Bungie though.

that was the least convincing video you could have possibly made. using the last word at range.. I wouldn't be surprised if you missed.. same thing with vex.. and it's often your enemies latency .. that's the issue I see the most.
