Okay, so I had a thought on why there was no PC version of this game. What if there wasn't a PC version of this game, because Activision didn't want the PC community tearing the game apart to find out what was taken out of the game?
Think about it people! If you know you will make a metric crap ton of money off of the console port, why would you make a PC port and jeopardize the integrity of the franchise? I won't buy the "there aren't enough PC players for it to be a viable market" that's just stupid, slap this game on Steam and you would've make just as much as an Xbox One copy!
PC players are smart, they have access to tools that the console community doesn't, they could run through config files and settings that were left out and find what exactly was left in the game and what wasn't, and in the case of KOTOR 2, even enable the "removed" content! In essence, enabling the disc locked content for free, and giving the community the game that we should have received!
I know I know, this is all ridiculous ice! But in the end, is it really that hard to believe? I think not! Now there are some of you fanboys that that will say "But ice, they already stated that they wanted to focus on the platforms that they're familiar with!" What do you think this game is being created on, a PS4? an Xbone? no, it's a PC! The console dev kits are for porting the game to the platform and optimizing for the best settings, not designing and entire game, let alone an entire franchise! I will also point out that Activision consistently creates PC ports for CoD, and that's one of their biggest franchises, so why would you NOT make a PC port for Destiny?
TL;DR Bungie/Activision didn't make a PC port because they would've been caught red handed cutting content out for DLC.
