Break Up and Keep Playing or ... NEED ADVICE
So my girlfriend gets pissed when I come home from work and play until I gotta go to work the next morning... So I don't sleep anymore at all, I really don't wanna miss out on any Loot, so I spend all my hours spare grinding Phogoth strike over and over... But I need advice she seems pretty pissed lately and acting as if I must choose between her and work or Destiny! It's pretty selfish of her IMO. I don't know if to break up with my girlfriend or give up playing for a few months....
Please reply with some advice fellow Guardians!

2 RepliesSo this has worked for me, I agree to only go on early Tuesdays, I then have to watch countless amounts of rubbish tv programs as my part of the deal, the other nights I go on when she goes to bed, weekends is easier as she meets up with her mum most Saturdays (I find putting the dishwasher on or the washing machine on when she is out always goes down quite well).

You have 2 32's -blam!-ing take a break. Get some balance in your life I don't think nightfall and raiding take that long to complete even with 3 characters and you're basically doing extra work on the game that can be best spent with your special someone. Destiny isn't important, the real people in your life are, get your head out of your ass before you lose her man. You want advice? Spend more time with your GF, and play when you can. Stop doing extra work on the game, you don't have to

If this is real then sort yourself out. Would you want to be with someone who came home and watched something you hated the entire time they were supposed to be spending time with you?

1st you dont need to give up playing for a few months just cut back on game time 2nd Sounds like she is worried about you and your health because you dont sleep and keep playing 3rd from this "choose between her and work or destiny" tells me you would rather have a game , that isnt even that good, then a job (which you need to support yourself unless you want to go live in mums basement for the rest of ur life) and a chick who cares enough about you to actually love you. 4th in my opinion the fact that you came to a bungie forum to ask a stupid question like this tells me you dont have a lot going for you

Your girlfriend should be your priority, even if Destiny is hella fun to spend hours playing. You should to talk to her about it, or do something to make it up to her, spend some time with her.

Umm... You need sleep for one... She's probably concerned you're losing grip with reality in general seeing as you literally work and then play destiny because you're afraid of missing out on something that isn't really important. Now if you can't see the fact that she means more than destiny you need to let her go because it's not fair to her. You obviously don't really care about her.

Man this really is an issue. My wife used to get pissed at me for pmag ing destiny so much, and i k ow this to be the case with friends of mine as well. It's not as bad anymore since I don't play as much as when the game first came out. Try to find a balance that will satisfy your gaming needs as well as hers.

Man...your level 32. You don't need to be grinding at all. Only days you should be grinding is Tuesday to knock out the raid, nightfall and weekly.
