Legendary Engrams
100% of legendary gear engrams have decoded to gear for other classes.
Nearly 10 engrams now. Wether from drops, strikes or vanguard advancement, my hunter has not received a hunter class piece of gear from a decoded engram.

I can't even.. There has never been a guarantee that gear engrams would be for your class.

Some times it happens keep trying it will work

Farming raids high strike level weeklys etc

I started w/ only a Hunter and I picked up an entire set of legendary/exotic warlock armor as I progressed, though I did pick up Hunter gear also. Then I decided to make a warlock for the new gear. Once again, I collected an entire set of legendary/exotic for my warlock but in the process I collected an entire titan armor set. I guess the game was trying to tell me something.

It seems to be that way. I main a warlock, and got full legendary Hunter gear, and a titan piece.
