I have a job already and it's nice going there because like you said: it keeps my mind off of things back at home. We already found a place for rent but my parents got back together after that. Things were going okay and my dad was actually changing to be a better person. But as usual things didn't turn out and now my parents will be getting a real divorce.

Well honesty it kinda sounds like a divorce might be the best solution. I would think your mom would be more happy without someone like that around and then the overall mood might improve for everyone. A divorce is not the end of everything. Sometimes drastic changes like that need to be made for everyone to be happy even though you may not see it right away. I got a divorce from my wife many years ago and both of us are a lot happier and we've both found someone else that makes us happy. Both of our lives has improved including the mood. It sounds like you are doing your best and that's all you can ever do. Everyone goes through dark times at some point and sometimes it can last awhile and sometimes it doesn't last long, but as long as you keep pushing forward you'll eventually come into the light.
