Does beer help me in PvP?
Hi all,
I love beer. I love it so much that I describe myself as a beer snob with pride. Just check out Instgram @craftworkamber if you doubt that claim.
However! Because I enjoy beer AND Destiny at the same time I've convinced myself there is a causal relationship - beer makes me play better.
Tonight I am going to play sober and evaluate the results. I need to note that I do not binge drink, that's for men without kids.

I'm not sure about PVP but it sure helped with yard work yesterday . The spring beers are poking their head out here and there.

One or two makes me play better, but more than that and I start getting sloppy. Hence, I don't drink more than one or two :)

1 ReplySometimes when I get a bruise or cut or something I just pour a little beer on it. I have yet to come across a problem beer can't solve.

3 RepliesI love relaxing after the little one goes down to bed after a long day and sip on a few cold ones while playing destiny this is my life. Work. Entertain little one. Dinner. Put little one to sleep. Beer. Destiny. Repeat!

Beer makes me a better person.

It definitely makes me bolder. And to certain amount I think it adds to the adrenaline rush. So in my experience, like with everything else, a few beers: definitely a plus.; go over the limit a little and it's all downhill. Tricky situation.

Cant say it helps me play better but it dulls the pain of getting my arse kicked. I say drink on my friend. (Raises bottle)

For me, a Long Island or two helps. It just makes me relax and have fun and not get so worked up about being crappy at pvp. Less frustration and not really caring too much about the outcome, I somehow do better.

1 ReplyI too enjoy a cold brew whilst playing destiny. This is typically post 8pm after the kids go to bed. I am absolutely terrible in the crucible though! Been playing shooters since 007 on N64 and wolfenstein on PC. Never have I been so disappointed with my performance. I think the beer helps me cope lol!
