yes, but it would be hard to implement based on the fact that they'll need to give a set value or the entire game market would crash. There are MMO's that do not have the control over trading and brake their in-game market. I think Diablo 3 took off the market. For some it would be a yes, but I think that most players feel like the game is fine now with how the loot works. Again i'm playing devil's advocate to the whole issue, but there is a way that it would work and have everybody be very happy.
