Warlocks literally have the same thing except they shoot it out of their hand. So wtf is the deal

  • The fact that they can be killed whilst activating completely negates this. Fist of panic is much worse, coming from a player that plays all three classes.

  • But if you don't launch it you don't lose your super...

  • No, I mean if you use your nova bomb and you levitate, then get killed just before you throw your magic missile, it won't take your super away. And if you get killed after launching it you'll still get your kills. So saying "oh but you can get killed during nova bomb's animation" is a moot point. I get that the damage reduction is handy on FoH, but it's necessary to get as close as you need to. If it was as easy to shut down as everyone seems to think it should be, then if wouldn't be much of a "super" at all.

True that but honestly, who in the right mind would give up shoulder charge just so they are harder to kill when using FoH? Also locks have Skull of Dire Ahamkara to subset this "Harder to kill" ability on an item. I feel this is very overrated, i still get killed aplenty. Basically all supers are OP in their own way in certain situations.

  • Both can be killed nuf said. Just that a Lock usually cast it further so it's easier to for people to react to it compare to a titan that is in your face. Coming from a player that plays both class and died aplenty to know that titans take a lot more skill to play than a lock

  • Titans can be killed mid animation too unless they have the perk that gives you higher defence during the animation But then at least we don't have recharging health, super speed, 3rd person view, a slow draining special meter, 2 offensive classes and multiple attempts at stabbing everything around us while absorbing more damage than usual as a default set up

Of course it's possible but do you see it very often? I personally don't, and when I play as a striker I don't get killed when I use foh. I'm not stating that it needs a nerf by any means (the invisible nerfs they've done on Bladedancer have made it trash) I'm just saying that it's quite the move that can't be countered. It does have an area effect too, js (should the perk be selected ((which is the same for voidwalker))). It's much easier to counter other supers is my point **edit** I don't think you actually mentioned anything about an area effect, so excuse me I must be delusional lol

  • But the animation is so fast on the fist of panic he needs to be damaged to kill him

  • It's not that hard I face plenty of people who can shotgun or fusion rifle me after I get brought down to no health trying to just get close enough to use it. The only time I'm guaranteed a kill with fist of havoc is if I surprise a team at a cap point in control or just waste it on some noob so I can at least get 1 kill.

  • I commend you for that and you won't get tbagged by me in the crucible if I ever kill you just for that sole reason. But the special weapons were put there for special situations and a titan sprinting at you is typically a special situation

  • As a warlock, I have to agree with you. Warlock's are easier to kill, sure. But with angry magic and lance we can nuke B from across the map on rusted lands. The only PVP super that's underwhelming is radiance, and it's a PVE beast.
If they weren't OP they wouldn't be called supers
• Radiance is OP if your sunsinger is spec right. Throwing grenades everywhere, 1 hit KO melee (without the criteria for should-charge, and the melee range for lock is much more than a Titan), increased defence, while everything mentioned such as burns, etc are enhanced. You can even come back from the dead!

  • With heart of praxis fire or a max discipline build maybe... But I don't like building my character around a super.

  • Radiance is the third best PvP super. Behind only golden gun and blade dancer.

  • Dude you have near infinite grenades. It's like the halo grenade+head shot combo all over again, just smack em with a grenade and dome them, rinse and repeat. And this they get too close, use some of your over shield and hit them with your now ohk melee

  • In addition, Nova Bomb has a slight charge up time and the Warlock is vulnerable for a split second before he fires. Good luck trying to kill a Titan when he panics.

  • Death from above has the same wait time. I use death from above religiously and I am always killed in mid air, happens all the time. Yeah, it's pretty much insta-kill if you're in punching distance of him, but so is Arcblade.

You can actually avoid a nova bomb if you're smart about it, fist of havoc is unavoidable if you're in a 15 ft radius.

You won't be able to avoid a nova bomb at 15ft radius too. The only time i missed a nova bomb is if i try to "snipe" with it. the difference is with FOH, you don't have a choice to range, you need to get close.

Well for one if you time a blink properly you do escape quite often. But trust me, I am aware it's very difficult to escape either. All I was pointing out is that nova bomb is doable while fist isn't
