I'm sure that Urk being a writer now, making DeeJ the only full time community manager, has some impact on how they communicate with us. I'm not blaming DeeJ however, he said himself that he wishes he could tell us everything that they were planning.
My guess is, they are afraid of letting us down again. They told us so much that was in concept during pre-alpha stage, much of which didn't make it in the game, but we didn't know that part.

I also think that there may be a hefty Activision gag order on the Community relations department. If it's not Activision doing it, then it is Bungie ignoring us all on their own, and that's an even worse thought.

I think that going to Activision was a bad idea in the first place, though I don't think they had any good options to choose from.

Personally? I would have pitched the idea to Bethesda Softworks. They would have at least let Bungie do what they want with the game and not stuck their nose in quite so much. Bobby Kotick is a cancer on the gaming industry...

*eyes widen and palm finds face* Did not know until know that Bethesda was a publisher... I guess the main reason against that would be the emphasis on PC. I'm feeling kind of tired all of a sudden....
