Suddenly We're hated.
Suddenly all 31's trying to get in on the hard raid are just getting bullied by 32s. Psh, Highschool all over again.

As "Amazing" and "Inspiring" Your Guys post are. I think you're missing the point, I don't care about the hard raid or doing it anytime soon! Im saying that alot of the 32s are being bullies to levels below. (As stated im my post above^) Yes i understand that we 31s do significantly less damage than a 32 but i didn't know that gave you the right to Call people "Scrubs, Scumbags, Wetbacks,etc" As much as you guys think "Oh its the interner get over it scrub. Go cry somewhere else" instead of actually understanding what im trying to imply here, It won't change anything. Just like this post is probably meaningless and others will laugh. Ive seen what bullying can do to people, I've lost family and friends to it. Im just stating what i see. Nothing more. -S

Hey guys guess what. I soloed lamps legit.On hard. The rest of the team joined as I was finishing. But look at my titan. I'm thirty one. We then proceeded to beat the bridge and Deathsinger. We then had to disband due to some people having school. The thing is is that if a thirty one has been here day one and knows the mechanics you should gladly let him in. Know I understand why you shouldn't. I'm lucky my friends were generous. I hope to get to thirty two today. See you guys Starside

31s are useless in the hard raid. You can generally be carried but you do drastically less damage to enemies and take a lot more. For the Crota fight any 31s just need to hide.

Joined a group with 4 31s me being a 32 and i was the only one to complete the abyss and then at the bridge they couldn't didnt have enough fire power to take down the swordbearer without taking 5 minutes, when they did they didnt stand a chance against the gatekeeper who [b]barely staggers and takes 5-6 RTs as a 32[/b], I had to solo ogres. 31s do not belong in hard mode unless you have a godly amount of skill or 32s who can carry you.

Go look at how difficult the hard mode fight is and go back on your merry way in normal mode until you get to 32.

I think the point is we're 32 and they aren't. It's not impossible just harder. 32's kill faster so we have more room for error. Or glitches as destiny loves to grace us with.

31s can easily run all the way til crota

1 ReplyI agree that bringing 31's in the hard raid is fine up to Crota. But even with a full team of 32's and maxed raid weapons (hive disruptor)/ Ghorn, crota is VERY hard now. If you get in a group you'll see for yourself. All the guys you crushed in the crota encounter are now yellow bar majors. That sword knight that jumped onto the bridge on normal is now a yellow bar ascendent wizard. There is no chalice so you NEED to have ways to self heal. And the encounter ends with a burn phase where crota summons an oversoul, boomer knights, a wizard, ogres, thrall, and acolytes and you need to survive it all and kill him in maybe 10 seconds or you instantly die. But make no mistake. You doing 40% less damage and taking 40% more, will be a factor.

Tried many times last night to beat the Bridge CP with 3 31s and 3 32s, it's next to impossible with that level difference.

1 ReplyI'm not surprised, I wouldn't attempt it until 32. Level 32s already do 30% less damage than what a level 33 would (I know 32 is the cap). So level 31s would do 42% less damage, which is a big damage penalty.

Probably nothing against you they just want what's best for the fireteam.

Don't confuse bullied with not invited to fireteams If you're not level 32 and you're not invited don't take it personal, it's not like they know you, some teams accept level 31s but as everybody knows, that's not recommended

3 RepliesI've done half of one normal raid on CE (2 loot checkpoints) and got 2 of the 3 pieces (including enough shards from soloing chests on alts) I need to get to level 32, is it really that hard to get the gear to get to level 32? Genuine question, I may have got very lucky indeed!

Just get your guy to 32. I won't bother with Crota HM with a character dealing 40% less damage.

You'd be 2 levels underneath every enemy in the whole Raid. It just wouldn't be enough to keep up. 30's not really that great for doing it Normal mode, that's why I'm grinding bounties to max out Saint-14 and hit 31 before I even give Crota a serious try.

I would only invite a 31 if they were a titan or warlock
