Solo is unfair.

I' ve played Destiny solo since its release because none of my friends had it or wanted it. Getting to lv 29 has been one big grind and it's not fair. I cannot play VoG becuase I have nobody to do it with so have to wait for HOURS to get a fire team together. I cannot do the nightfall for the same reason. I cannot do crota's end, for the same reason. I cannot do the weekly heroic strike, for (you guessed it!) the same reason. I didn't get an exotic (thorn) until level 27 becuase I couldn't get enough strange coins to buy things from xür and didnt get them from the crucible events or weekly strikes, but RNG hates everyone but a select few so I'll let the crucible and stardad strikes slip. Having to play solo has completely set me back from other players. I've used one of my characters since release and its a lower level than some people from the Christmas rush! I only had one question before writing this, now I have a small list and want to know the answers. Why are solo players penalised for being alone? Why aren't solo players getting better rewards for doing the same tasks as others but with less people? Why is there no matchmaking on the weekly and nightfall strike? Why is there no matchmaking on the raids? Why have you patched grind zones when for a large majority its their only way of getting good gear? I have doubts that these questions will even be looked at by anyone at Bungie, but I want to get them out there because I want the hundreds hours put into the game to be rewarded rather than being wasted because I have no friends that play destiny. Edit: I know about groups, I'm not to interested in them because I'd rather play with friends. If you know good ones though, I might have a look.

  • With the huge lack of story content in this game, It really appears that at some point in the development, Bungie just gave up on the idea of a single player experience and just pushed out a co-op, multiplayer grind fest. When you look at all the developer diaries before launch, it really seemed that Destiny was going to have this epic scale story campaign and that the multiplayer aspect would just be a bonus. This really reminds me of Aliens Colonial Marines. Amazing dev diaries, really exciting trailers and then when the game launched, it was like "um what is this horrible mess you dumped on us? Where is the game you have been showing us the past year in your development diaries?"
