Your post brings up some interesting points.
I got invited to try the normal raid at a low Level 29 and accepted to see what it was like (my one and only time trying a raid with others). Obviously, after a few tries, myself and a few other 29s decided we simply didn't have enough gas in the tank to take care of business. The guy along with us who was maxed at the time was nice about it...and he was right. It was like bringing tweezers to a sword fight.
I don't condone the bullying, but fortunately I have yet to experience it in any form.
Anyways, there are multiple ways to enjoy this game and don't let your level define you. Those of you that are maxed out, I tip my hat to you. Those of you in my boat, keep on keeping on.
