Hello, I'm BatsHercules8, filling in for SamboBaggins91 as he recovers from the seasonal flu. Either that or he's locked up in a closet somewhere. Here's three stories trending in the tower right now. 1) Ebola. One guardian was recently confirmed to have the disease not seen since the Golden Age. The hunter, who had been fighting Fallen in Old Africa, originally thought he had the flu(Again with the flu. Really?), but then he remembered he'd gotten his yearly flu shot. Blood tests confirmed the diagnosis. The Vanguard unanimously agreed with Lord Shaxx's proposal to send him into a Fallen Ketch to "Show them the true meaning of war." His last words before being thrown in were "no u." 2) A ship crashed into the Tower last week. Fortunately nobody was hurt including the warlock who owned the ship, and the Tower was still remarkably safe. The warlock is currently being investigated for other things, such as disturbing the peace. And yes, Amanda Holliday still fixed the ship. 3) The tower is apparently becoming less popular to live near. Property values are declining, and a recent study shows that they're dropping the fastest near the tower. This is no doubt due to two factors; that warlock we already mentioned, and an increase in suicidal guardians. That's today's show.
