If your not an EXO then you break the lore of the game so the cannon character is an Exo
its hard to see Human or Awoken just magically waking up after being dead for centuries but an Exo could be fixed by the ghost and turned on so being a Human or Awoken breaks the lore of the game. There were supposed to be different beginnings for all 3 races but it got cut.
