Icebreaker Eluded My Grasp... AGAIN!
The last time Icebreaker was sold by Xur I foolishly let it slip by not realizing the potential it possessed. After hearing tails about its greatness as well as seeing it first hand I swore to never make that mistake again. Just the other day I learned that it was for sale again this past weekend but I was away in Cuba for a vaca and wasn't able to play so here I am again without the great Icebreaker for who knows how much longer.

I'm in the same boat except the first time it was on sale i was 1 coin short and i was on holidays last week. Bah!

I to missed the first time xur sold the ice breaker. I was able to buy one off of him. That same day i completed the nightfall and to my surprise there it was again another ice breaker, what are the chances of that.

Yeah, it was a hot seller. In the update they said Xur took in about 19,436,440 strange coins that weekend on Icebreakers. That means about 1,143,230 Icebreakers were sold that weekend. That has to be a record for an exotic sold by Xur. I missed the first passing of Icebreaker, but made sure that I got my hands on it the next time it came around.

6 RepliesThat sucks, there's 1,143,320 new proud owners, myself included, and even though I almost made the same mistake and let it pass, i can't be happier that I bought it instead of the helmets that were also for sale. It's an insane weapon, and I haven't even finished upgrading it yet.

That does really suck. I didn't have enough coins the first time it was for sale months ago either, but made sure I did for the next time. So last weekend I ended up buying 2 IBs. Good luck...maybe it will drop for you. Xur made over 19 million coins on 1.1 million Icebreakers. Crazy!! Talk about the greatest arms dealer ever!
