Your knowledge in basic cosmology baffles me. Mercury. It is a rock, not lava. In fact, the dark side of mercury is the coldest place in our entire solar system. Uranus, pronounce like yur-ah-nus, not your anus, is a gas giant. There is no water or ice on it. Only gas. Like Saturn, it also has rings and moons. Bungie may have tossed physics aside when creating their worlds, but they they kept the scenery as good as they could, if you imagine Venus terraformed.

 • You're taking this way too literally. There is ice on Uranus so it's not hard to imagine a ice world there. Also if you had actually taken time to read my thread you would have noticed that I stated the fact about gas giants, see my Saturn point in the OP. Did you come here just to challenge my intelligence or just attack me? If so, you are pathetic.

 • No, there is not ice on Uranus. Only gas.

 • http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Uranus Just go ahead and read that then you can get the hell out of my thread with your ignorant ass.

 • There is no ice on Uranus. It is a gas giant. The heavier the gas, the closer to the center mass of the planet it is. Water vapor is very heavy compared to most gases. If there was any water, ice, or water vapor on Uranus, it would be extremely far down in the atmosphere where the atmospheric pressure would be so great that it would be far to hot to even be water, let alone ice. I'm not trying to be a jerk to you. I have a strong feeling you made this thread (which is not yours by the way) in order to let slip a double entendre involving Uranus.

 • It is my original thought, I'm sure I'm not the first to make the thread, but I made this on my own. There is ice on Uranus. Read the article. This is a video game, which is fictional. There is no organic matter on Venus nor Mars and gravity is not the same throughout the solar system. Therefor is it completely believable that Uranus could be a nice planet in this VIDEO GAME. And finally, yes I made this as an anus joke. Initially the thread was called "I want you're anus" then I started the thread by saying "oops I meant Uranus" but I changed it.

 • Okay, if you are serious about ice worlds and destiny, look up these moons. You admit it was a joke, and now i feel like a giant jerk. Jupiter has a moon called Europa. Europa is an extremely fascinating place that many scientists believe COULD harbor life in an ocean under the moon's ice shell. It is very far from the sun, but the tidal forces of jupiters gravity are thought to be enough to keep the core of the planet warm. Uranus has a moon called Triton. It is one of the biggest moons in our solar system and has by far the most diverse (valleys and hills) landscape of ice we have seen. My personal favorite body in our solar system is a moon that orbits Saturn called Titan. It has ice. The solid parts of the moon on the surface are pure ice, but there are also rivers, valleys, mountains, and even rain. The catch is it does not rain water, it rains methane. It is a mind blow to learn about. Lastly, not long ago people started discovering planet after planet after planet past Pluto. We now call these bodies Dwarf Planets and the overwhelming majority of them will be covered in ice. Sorry if i came across elitist. I take cosmology super cereal.

 • They why not just imagine a new planet instead of imaging an actual planet in a different way? Why turn Uranus into an ice world when there are thousands of ice worlds we call dwarf planets out in the Kuiper belt? Ever heard of Pluto?
