There are hundreds if not thousands of different species. EVEN INTERGALATIC SPECIES such as the VONG. In Star Wars an entire world was destroyed by a dark force wielder simply by absorbing their lifeforce into his own . Like that's just the beginning. You said ENTIRE STAR WARS V. ENTIRE HALO , that's a no brainer. And you people saying only SW MOVIES ARE CANON that's a lie then the precursor books and other halo books are also non existent. Stop.

1) There was no movie made by the creators of Halo. 2) You are referring to the Forerunners, the Precursors came before them, they created them, as they created all life in the universe. They moved galaxies, traveled between universes, could destroys stars simply by passing through them. They were gods. The Flood is, actually, a descendant of them, and evil twisted version of them that, in the Forerunners time, changed the fabric of reality to destroy the Forerunners. The Precursors could destroy galaxies as casually as the Death Star can destroy planets, and they cannot die, ever. SW has nothing on them. 3) Judging from the way you write, it sounds as though you're in no position to call anyone "kid." Punctuation, use it, and stop fanboying all over Star Wars.

The big players of the Halo Universe consists of humanity pre-covenant, humanity-post covenant (who are highly developed), the covenant, covenant separatists, Forunners, and I totally forget their names but the robot Forunners we fight in Halo 4, Humanity pre-Forunner transformation to cavemen (which is so extensive we don't even know all of it, and who were more powerful than the Forunners), THE MUTHERFLIPPLIN FLOOD, and of course the wait for... Precursors (who alone could destroy Star Wars), also I do believe there was another even more advanced civilization before the Precursors who the Precursors discovered vast knowledge from. Not even going to begin with all the other thousands of races that are rarely touched on unless you dig deep into the lore. This is just the beginning of the Halo Universe. If someone else could explain the Precursors power in depth that would be great.
